Anything Upholstery was opened ten years ago in the year of 2010 by Adam who already had ten years of experience working for some of the biggest names in the country. He loved his job and undertook all types of upholstery including auto, marine and domestic, enjoying all of the tedious and more complicated jobs that were turned away by other tradesmen.

This led to him getting jobs sent down from places as far as Auckland because no one else would touch them. But Adam would and did a faultless job time after time. As the years have passed, Adam has continued to work and develop his skills. This includes finding himself using a lot of leather on private jobs which he loves to work with.

This love for these materials has meant that we have accumulated a large collection of leather and beautiful hair on hide pieces from Ark Leathercraft which are one-off restored or custom made to order.

These can all be purchased online now. As we go into the future of Anything Upholstery, we hope to continue with the leather and hair on hide theme, even making some pieces with wild New Zealand Alpine Species - so watch this space!
